Our Story

When I decided to get a dog for myself, I came across Zoey.

Her sweet face and her lively spirt – I knew she was to be mine. Zoey was my baby Shih-Tzu who was full of life! When she got older, she became diabetic and developed a seizure disorder. I was in a fortunate situation that I could pay for her medications for her to live a happy life until it became to a point where her quality of life diminished.

The day we had to send her over the rainbow bridge, my vet said to me,

“You have done everything for her to live the rest of her days without suffering and most people are not able to do so. She was lucky to have you.”

After my long mourning, a light bulb went off. Why not start a foundation to help other pet families that are not able to do so when an emergency arrives?”

I decided then that this is my life’s mission: To help as many pet families as possible.

Maybe if we help a family when they are in financial hard times, at some point they may be able to help someone out like they were helped. It can be a revolving door of people helping people.

We can’t save them all, but if we can help one family at a time, that’s a win!
